As already posted on our events and tour dates page, The Ventures will be appearing in Aberdeen, WA on Saturday, June 30, at the D&R Theater (www.dandrtheater.com). Listen for radio advertising locally on Sunny 104.1 and KMZQ 104.5 in Seattle. Also visit the Push Rods of Hoquiam car club at their website www.pushrods.org. There will be a big classic car show during the day on Saturday, June 30, in Hoquiam and The Ventures will present a guitar to the winner.

At the show that evening, opening for The Ventures will be the Barry Curtis Trio, NW rock at its finest. The Ventures will host a Meet and Greet VIP Party before the show, along with Barry Curtis and Steve Peterson of The Kingsmen (‘Louie Louie’). Special Guest on Sax and Guitar will be the Honorable Brad Owen, Lieutenant Governor of the State of Washington. Topping off these legends of the Pacific Northwest will be the incomparable and legendary DJ, Pat O’Day, as Master of Ceremonies.

There will be a Memorabilia Show displaying Gold and Platinum records from The Ventures and The Kingsmen as well as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame statue awarded to The Ventures. The only other Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee from the Northwest was Jimi Hendrix.

The first VIP Package (only 20 of these packages are available) is at the $250.00 level and includes:

1. A Ventures Model Guitar and The Ventures model gig bag, which can be autographed by The Ventures

2. A great time to mingle and talk with The Ventures’ members, and Barry Curtis and Steve Peterson of The Kingsmen.

3. Fantastic appetizers, catered by Amore Ristorante Italiano.

4. The Ventures and The Kingsmen memorabilia show.

5. An opportunity to have your Ventures’ and Kingsmen records and CDs autographed, and avoid the huge line after the show.

6. The chance to purchase Ventures’ CD’s, T-shirts and other memorabilia before the general public.

7. A no-host bar for cocktails.

The second VIP Package at $100 per person comprises all of the above with the exception of the guitar and gig-bag.
