We just received sample copies of a new compilation 2-CD set to be released in Japan on June 20, 2012. It is entitled ‘The Ventures Love Japan’. The cover artwork features an artist’s rendition of a surfer coasting down Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms, and a signature-Ventures’ style guitar. The first CD features 17 Japanese-related tracks and the second CD has 20 of the classic Ventures titles. The release is to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Ventures’ first visit to Japan. The Japanese retail price is 3000 Yen, meaning that our sale price wouldl have to be about $40.
