As we enter the summer season, there will be a lot of travel going on – not just The Ventures but me as well – and I’m sure that many of our fans will be taking some time off to travel too. The office will be closed from August 1-15 so the last orders to be shipped will be on July 31. All orders received at the beginning of August will be shipped on Friday, August 17. I will also be away in Japan between August 28 and September 10 where I will have the opportunity to see several Ventures concerts. I will also be able to pick up more CDs and DVDs: if anybody wishes to pre-order items that are currently out of stock, please let me know in mid-August so that I can contact EMI Japan and Pony Canyon Records to make sure they have inventory available. Please be aware, however, that some CDs and DVDs have either been deleted from the catalog or are currently not available until the record companies decide whether or not to manufacture more copies.
