Later this month, in conjunction with our Japan Tour 2022, Pony Canyon will be releasing a completely new 13-track CD by The Ventures, entitled New Space. 10 of the tracks are new compositions by members of the group and others, all with a “space” theme, of course. We will be offering the CD for sale on our website, for a limited time for pre-order. We encourage anyone who is interested in obtaining a copy to either order through the website, or to contact me directly (Fiona Taylor, fionataylor@theventures.com, or by phone at 818-903-6381). We will close the pre-order process on July 31 and expect to have our delivery from Japan on or about August 31, so shipments will be made right around Labor Day. This album has been in the works since 2020 but, obviously, because Covid interrupted all our touring and there were no performances in Japan in 2020 and 2021, the CD wasn’t finished until this year. We hope everyone will enjoy it and our look forward from Space to New Space!
