On August 9, the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame announced the names of the 8 inductees for 2011. Both Bob Bogle and Nokie Edwards were born in Oklahoma and qualify. We had been hoping to work this out several years ago when both Bob and Nokie would have been able to attend, but unfortunately the timing wasn’t right and it didn’t happen. I’m sure that Bob would be overjoyed if he were still with us but, in any case, we are all very proud that both he and Nokie will be inducted. The ceremony will be held at the Muskogee Civic Center on November 20, 2011.
