Well, the official announcement came yesterday in Japan. The Ventures were very busy with press interviews all day yesterday and Don informed the journalists that, in 2016, Ian Spalding would officially be taking over as the fourth member of the group for the Japan tour. At this point, it is expected that he will play Bass, while Bob will switch to Rhythm – with some Lead, of course, as he does currently. You can check out Facebook postings for updates as well.
