There will be a big fund-raising event at the Temple Theatre in Tacoma, WA, to celebrate Nokie Edwards’ life and his contribution to The Ventures and the music world in general. Funds raised will go to help defray the medical costs incurred during the last few months of his life while he battled the infections that finally overcame him, as well as his “last tour” which Judy, his wife, is doing to honor his last wishes so the fans and friends can share in these events. There will be tributes, hours of music with many great musicians who played with Nokie during his life, an auction and much more.
