There will be multiple new CDs released in Japan this summer. Both M&I Records and EMI Japan have a number of releases scheduled. M&I has a new “Live” CD that was recorded in Tokyo in January of this year, along with 2 “Music Minus One” CDs that will allow guitarists, bass players and drummers to play along. These will be the first “karaoke” CDs by The Ventures pretty much since the original Play Guitar albums in the 1960s. EMI Japan will be releasing a number of the late 1960s-early 1970s albums featuring Gerry McGee on lead. Most of these CDs will be released in Japan in mid-June.
We will be offering these CDs through our on-line store: as soon as we have the cover artwork, pricing, etc., they will be added to the store, so that you can pre-order. Your credit cards will not be charged until we ship your order. We hope to have the first shipment of these new CDs before the end of June.
