The current issue of TV Guide for the period April 22 – May 5, 2013 features an article on ‘Supreme Themes’ – The 60 Greatest Title Songs of All Time. Guess what? ‘Hawaii Five-O’ came in at #3 with a nice nod to The Ventures. It also says that the new Hawaii Five-O series (they call it a ‘reboot’) features a rerecorded version! It doesn’t say why though! At least The Ventures were mentioned and given credit for the hit. Check it out on Page 20 of your TV Guide magazine.
