Today, August 1, 2022, marks exactly 50 years since I first met The Ventures in Osaka, Japan where they were on one of the most extensive tours they performed there. Who knew that I would still be involved with the band? Certainly not me! The photo that is shown here is the poster that was used for advertising all over Japan that summer: the group played 108 shows in 78 days – quite a marathon!
