The Ventures will soon be celebrating their 50th Anniversary (Bob Bogle and Don Wilson first got together in 1958, although their first hit record “Walk Don’t Run” did not reach the charts until 1960).
To commemorate the event, and to offer a retrospective/history of the group, work is continuing on a box set. This is slated to include 2 DVDs with live footage dating back to the 1960’s through the new millennium, interviews and much more, 2 CDs, a full-color booklet, and some special surprise souvenir items.
The Fender Corporation is working with The Ventures to design special packaging. |
