After an absence of many years, The Ventures returned to Canada, to appear at Casino Rama, outside of Toronto. The 5,200 seat venue was a sell out. Casino Rama hosts a state of the art stage, lighting and sound system. Some of the biggest names in music have played their recently.
The band treated the audience to a full 2-hour show, ending with Caravan as their encore number with Leon Taylor’s extended drum solo. Fans came in from all over Canada, as well as Europe, and across the border in the U.S.
The group signed autographs for the fans for over an hour after the show.
